Satellite phones and a site radio network: separating communications tasks

The facility’s radio network provides exchanges between employees in a coordinated infrastructure. The Iridium 9555 satellite phone solves another problem: a separate voice output of the user through a satellite network. Having both devices does not automatically combine them.
Before buying, determine who really needs an external channel. Sometimes it's the one in charge of the away group, and the internal operational communication stays on the two-way radio. The number of telephones is then counted by work roles, not by the number of radio network members.
What is not automatically included
The telephone is not a gateway for all portable stations. If you need the interaction of different networks, it is an independent project with separate equipment and configuration. Such a function cannot be promised on the basis of the purchase of one machine.
For everyday use, agree on the battery, charging equipment and required accessories. List the contents of the box and any additional equipment, especially when kits are handed over between shifts.
Organization of communication
Coordinate the place of use and order of control call before the group exits. Reception conditions are important for the satellite signal. You cannot expect the same work behind obstacles, inside the building and in the open without assessing specific conditions.
Prepare contacts and understandable order of sending messages. A separate apparatus does not solve the organizational task of duty on the receiving side. Who is responsible and how information is received is determined by the working scheme itself.
Cost plan
The card shows the price of the equipment. Connection and network services are paid separately at the selected tariff. The terms of one satellite technology are not transferable to another, so the promise of unlimited VSAT does not automatically apply to Iridium 9555.
To order, transfer the number of phones, user roles, area of use, a set of accessories and the city. If you want to monitor objects without human intervention, Galileosky Base Block Iridium is considered a stand-alone position.
