VSAT, BGAN, Iridium, Inmarsat and monitoring: the composition of the supply and the price of the kit.
The catalog presents two roles of TETRA equipment: handheld Motorola MTP6550 for the employee Motorola MTM5200 mobile for transportation or a fixed post. The choice begins with the task of the team and the conditions of the existing network. For the request, models of already used stations, the number of users and a list of accessories that need to be saved or added are useful.
Motorola MTP6550 — handheld digital TETRA radio, 350–470 MHz upon request
Motorola MTM5200 — mobile TETRA radio kit, 380–430 MHz upon request
Work in the existing system
Tell us for which network and facility the equipment is selected: production site, transport service, port terminal, field team or other working fleet. We need information about the infrastructure, operating devices and those responsible for setting up the system. The ability to connect the selected configuration should be discussed with this data.
Describe the negotiation groups, communication with the dispatcher and the routes of the employees. To expand the fleet, specify how many new users are being added and which stations remain. The word TETRA in the name of two devices does not replace the checks on their configuration and collaboration conditions.
Staff, transport and shifts
For a handheld radio, consider how it will be carried, headset use, shift duration, battery quantities and charging locations. List the existing accessories and their part numbers. A kit for one user may differ from the equipment needed to support a shift-based fleet.
For mobile installation, attach a description of the installation site, power supply, antenna and available space in the cabin or post. Find out what connections, attachments and accessories are already there. Photos of the current installation will help to agree on the composition of the delivery without assuming that any Motorola accessories will be suitable.
Site, city and composition of delivery
Name the place of work and the city of receipt: for example, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Samara, Ufa, Chelyabinsk or Omsk; for Kazakhstan - Almaty, Astana, Shymkent or Karaganda. For the port task, specify the terminal, and for the transport - the base and routes of the team. These examples do not imply a local office.
Send a list of models, quantity, operating conditions and desired accessories. The price, availability, setting and deadline are confirmed for a specific request. The order of writing is on the page. "How to order.".
TETRA for ports, industrial sites and transport hubs
In the port of St Petersburg or Ust-Luga, a workgroup may include a dispatcher, quay staff and vehicles. For an enquiry, specify the talkgroups, site boundaries, charging locations and existing terminals. If operation outside the network infrastructure is required, describe that scenario separately from routine network communications.
For an industrial site in Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod or the Atyrau area, the existing system configuration matters more than the distance between cities. Specify whether a new subscriber is joining an existing network or a separate communications area is being established. Handheld terminals, vehicle installations and fixed operating positions require different accessories.
For a shore team, tug or service boat, list internal workgroup communications separately from communication with other traffic. The use of TETRA equipment does not define the vessel’s entire communications package. A user-role diagram and a list of equipment to retain will help specify the required terminals, power supplies and audio accessories.
