Start with the primary documentation
NPK Morsvyazavtomatika describes the BP-103-20 as an unregulated power supply for marine and industrial equipment rated at 24 V. The manufacturer lists an output range of 18–31 V. Each connected load must tolerate the specified conditions. Short catalogue introductions contain conflicting values, so use the nameplate and applicable manual when preparing the specification. Calling a unit a “power supply” does not make a 24 V source suitable for equipment requiring a substantially different voltage.
One list for all connections
For each device, write down the model, permissible power supply and current in operating mode. Then, determine which loads can work at the same time. The manufacturer specifies a rated current of 20 A for the BP-103-20; the presence of several connection points does not mean separate 20 A for each. If part of the equipment is to remain on reserve, this is also reflected in the statement. So quotation can be associated with the composition of a particular post, and not with an indefinite number of “24 V devices”.
Reserve and charge do not combine by default
The system may have a network power supply, battery backup, charger and external alarm. These roles are described separately. The input for the backup battery does not confirm an automatic charge from the same unit. You need information about the existing battery, the stored circuit and the expected behavior of the post. If a charge is required, it is coordinated by a separate function and, if necessary, by a separate product. For the status signal, the applicability of the interface is also checked. The diagram cannot be collected by the number of terminals in the photo; the manual of the desired configuration is used.
Place and acceptance during modernization
When replacing, attach the marking of the installed source and the size of the space with access to cable inputs. The proposal fixes the full suffix of the model, kit and condition. Information about old or similar family variants is not combined into one passport. Documents for the marine project are agreed with respect to the proposed product. The check is performed with the agreed joint load and the provided change of power supply. The main product is the first in the selection below; HERCULES-10 and the charging CH-105 are other options for solving individual parts of the system, so their parameters are not put together in one universal configuration.
